Happy belated Independence Day to you! In case you forgot, there would be no Public Records Briefing if it weren’t for the Declaration of Independence! One of the grievances our Founding Fathers had with King George III: “He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.”

So this week we say, thanks King George!
