Did you know you can’t redact a Social Security number from a 911 recording? This rule is stashed away in an odd corner of an old case, but it’s probably still good law.

You undoubtedly know Social Security numbers are one of the most common redactions made on public records requests. R.C. 149.43(A)(1)(dd) is the exception that allows you to redact personal information (SSN, Driver’s License number, etc.).
