Fun Fact

If someone makes a public records request for resumes that job applicants have sent to your office, you’ll need to provide them. A resume or job application meets all the elements of R.C. 149.011 (G) and there’s no exception you can use to withhold them. Some agencies redact addresses of applicants and references, citing to State ex rel Dispatch vs. Johnson (home addresses of public employees are not public records) but that case can be stretched too far!
