Your New Yellow Book!

Someone on our team (we won’t mention names) completely missed that it was Sunshine Week when our last edition went out! So we forgot to send out our Sunshine Week greeting cards, and no one here even ordered a Sunshine Week cake! ☹

It's hard to believe that we could've lost track of such an internationally acclaimed holiday. So, instead we're celebrating Sunshine Week two weeks late and sharing with you a link to the brand new 2024 Yellow Book (Attorney General’s Guide to Public Records and Open Meetings Law)!

This year's Yellow Book is largely the same as last year's, but because of the big changes in public records law recently, it adds a new important chapter. The new chapter discusses Marsy’s Law changes that apply to law enforcement records, as well as issues and exemptions specific to law enforcement officers, crime victims, and body cameras and more.
